first day of spring with snow & CDs

It's been cold these days & it snowed yesterday. Snow during spring break and dry during winter break... is it normal?!
My pharmacist preceptor burned me a bunch of CDs ^-^ Dave Matthew Band, Counting Crow, U2, R.E.M. I was actually listening to my new CDs while compounding some cream & lotion (compounding has never been this fun). Pretty good music. I brought the Tabitha's Secret CD to work... "Rob Thomas, huh?" my preceptor knows how much I like Rob's music (hehe...)
Really need to start studying for block exams now, but not motivated to do so... -.- Afterall it's my last spring break! (unless I fail the course and have to repeat next year)

Sunday. No need to go to work. Went to Cincinnati with mom & brother to had "dim sum." Checked out a fairly new mall called Cincinnati Mills. Love the stuff in the Guess outlet store. Then later went to Kenwood Center. Cheesecake Factory. Ordered Vietnamese shrimp summer roll, Firecracker salmon roll, Roadside sliders (mini burgers)--all appetizers. Couldn't leave out the cheesecake--essential part of the meal. White chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake. Yum yum yum yum.....

metallic silver, J, stamps, etc.

Got some metallic silver paint markers yesterday for decorating some mortar & pestles. Already finished decorating 2 dozens of them. Only 18 more dozens to go!

Volunteered at the PB&J concert this morning. It was all about harp. I helped with the instrument petting zoo (the violins again). Somebody took care of the brass so I didn't have to worry about those. There were a lot more little kids eager to beat the violins up this time...

Just found out about the Curious George stamps at usps.com and I'm wearing a Curious George shirt right now. HOW NEAT!

Our pharmacy's insurance billing system in the computers have changed and it's a disaster. I don't even fully understand how the old system worked and now comes the new one!!! I had such a hard time fixing insurance problems last night >_<

Right Away

Things I did/knew right away:
1. Registered at Postcrossing. User name: daisysiad
(Kimberly--you know I can't resist signing up for cool things :p)
2. Posted a weather pixie on my blog.
3. Have a good chance of getting the hospice care rotation I requested.
(So far, I get my five first-choice rotation sites. Things may change by March 6 though...)
4. Can't work with my best buddies at 5 of my rotation sites next year.
5. Don't want to date the e-mail pal I had dinner with last night.
(but don't want to lose a friend either)
6. Want to work more hours during spring break but they won't let me.
(all I can get are 4-hour shifts)
