celebration-less

I think it's the first time my dad is not with us for Chinese New Year. He's going to Malaysia to meet with his highschool classmates (and possibly some gambling party...). CNY used to be fun and it no longer is since we moved to KY (what a remote area...). The celebration usually goes on for about 2 weeks, meaning that no school for about 2 weeks when I was back in Hong Kong. Man! We don't even have another long weekend before spring break in March. Well, exam is 2 days away and I may be as well studying... or I'll fail the exam and feel miserable. (and I already feel miserable with my runny nose...)

no frame

At last! I bought some jigsaw puzzle glue to give a finishing touch to the 5 puzzles that I completed 2 Decembers ago. Now, the pieces are not coming apart, yet I still need to frame them (and haven't find a frame of the right size and reasonable price). I feel sorry for the puzzle just laying on the floor (stacking on one another)... May be til next December...

P.S. pretzels are fattening :(

fool x_x

finally break my personal record--getting a zero for a lab. it hurts, but, even "better," i can laugh at myself for being so stupid. hard work never gets paid off for me since i got into pharmacy school. what's the point of studying every single day after class then?? (yet, i'm still doing this) i might be better off killing patients once i graduate (if i can graduate at all)...

got my new CD in the mail today. the guitar sound is louder than the vocal part, but that's all right as long as rob thomas sings ^-^

bad start

1st lab of the semester and I already know that I missed every single question on the worksheet (worth a total of 10 points).... Wonderful. Also, we practice giving immunization (3 shots) on each other's arm again. Seemed like I was lacking some vitamin K dependent clotting factors this morning that I got a little more blood on my arm than usual (or maybe my partner needed some more practice). Anyway, this marked the beginning of another rough semester...

P.S. waiting for my Tabitha's Secret CD to come ^.^ yes, a band that no longer exists (and I've gone nut lately...)
