Right Away

Things I did/knew right away:
1. Registered at Postcrossing. User name: daisysiad
(Kimberly--you know I can't resist signing up for cool things :p)
2. Posted a weather pixie on my blog.
3. Have a good chance of getting the hospice care rotation I requested.
(So far, I get my five first-choice rotation sites. Things may change by March 6 though...)
4. Can't work with my best buddies at 5 of my rotation sites next year.
5. Don't want to date the e-mail pal I had dinner with last night.
(but don't want to lose a friend either)
6. Want to work more hours during spring break but they won't let me.
(all I can get are 4-hour shifts)

    Hi ya Daisy!
Yup I knew you wouldn't be able to resist signing up! Have you gotten a person's addy to send a postcard to yet?

My first postcard that I sent out just a few days ago was to a guy in Serbia. I wonder how long it'll take to reach him. hmm...
I don't even know where Serbia is. Need a world map. LOL I got an atlas for the US. My dad tried telling me that Serbia is near this country and I was thinking I don't even know where the country was that he was talking about. LOL

Cool now I can just look on your blog for the weather in your area. I like the pixie you picked.
Are you gonna tell your e-mail pal that you just wanna be friends? I know you don't want to lose a friend, but you don't want to give him the wrong impression. That's what I'd do and if the guy doesn't want to stay friends then that's just too bad. I don't see why he wouldn't stay friends because you're a great friend to have!

Where will you work during spring break? Why won't they let you work more hours?

I'm about to send my first postcard to a girl in Portugal (luckily I know where it is without consulting the world map :p). This is way too neat!

The weather's been fluctuating this week. It got really warm, like at the late 70s one day and we woke up the next morning at the 20s! I like your pixie, too. She's hot :p

I'll still be working at my usual place during spring break. Typically they only allow an intern to work 2 shifts a week. I've already signed up for 16 shifts this month..........
